Hello everyone,

I know it's been a while and probably only a few will remember me, but I was hoping I could ask for a bit of your assistance.

I've been pondering about subscibing again for DDO as I finished school and should be getting a stable job within the month, but sadly when I tried to subscribe yesterday I got ninja tripped by Clickandbuy.com, for some reason that infernal site will not allow me to register, and when I then started to do some indebt research to solve the problem I read some horrific reviews about that site and I am as of now, terrified to subscribe through it.
I tried to ask for help on the CM forums, but the password they send back when "lost my password" just bounches of and gives a "You fail" response (not litteraly of course but it comes close to it), did it a few times (and yes I know the difference of the game account and forum account) but without any luck. The only thing I got left to do is register under a different email (I got plenty) but I figured I'd drop by here first for some opinions.

I honestly hope that my issues are related to my own incompetence, but sadly I'm not in an angle to figure that out. So to get to the point I was hoping some of you can tell me if clickandbuy can be trusted (after which I could call/mail them for help with the registering process).
or should I try paypal (I think I once registered an account there). What is your experience?

I'm looking forward to your replies, and thank you in advance.

Heya,

You should take another look at the game - its changed loads from when you played. :)

As for clickandbuy...... never used them. sprry :(

I know Pay Pal is a secure paying system and I have used it many times to buy items of the internet and never had any problems.

If you want me to PM about your forum access to deum I will - just ask?

Drop us another line if your coming back to game :D

I believe if you read enough about things, you will eventually discover that all
those organizations, all those services are just about as equally a cut throat as
the other.

Look at PayPal. It's not called PainPal without reason :D

I've used Click&Buy a few times already, use it for iTunes. I also signed up two
accounts over C&B, used PayPal before but C&B let me use the special offer
without a credit card when PP acted up. They haven't taken the money from my
account yet since I have time left I put in using game time cards, but since it
worked just fine via direct debit (from bank account) with iTunes, I don't see a
problem coming up with Codemasters here.

I even registered my bank account there. Wasn't necessary but was easy enough
and I even got 1 cent out of it :D

The forum accounts on the CM forum can be a bit weird. Vistaella (SP?) has
moved to his fifth or whatever account now because they stopped working.
Unless you have sentimental values or a huge post count on your old forum
account, just create a new one with a new email address. :)

As for DDO - everybody who's taken a break because of RL and not because
they had fundamental issues with the game should definitely come back to try
it out. It's as awesome as ever :D

I've been boxing around through email with clickandbuy, no solution yet, In all honesty I'm starting to wonder if it's worth all the hassle.
I'm going to take a break for a few days and try again with paypal, probably.

How I miss the good days of entering your creditcard info and having fun in less then 15 minutes.
